Welcome to the English Today website!

The EnglishToday Pronunciation Guide is, as the name says, a guide to English Pronunciation.

The problem with the pronunciation of English words, especially when reading, is that there are no easy rules as to how a particular word is pronounced. Quite often the correct pronunciation bears no relation to any logic or even common sense, with chaos being the best description. This is where the English Pronunciation Guide comes in!
